This Sunday, it’s “Oscar’s big night,” otherwise known as the Academy Awards. As Hollywood A-listers walk down the red carpet, movie-goers switch from silver screen to small screen to watch the mother of all awards shows on TV.
But what if you’re stuck in a hotel room in New Delhi with only Bollywood options in Hindi? Or you’re at your in-laws and they would rather watch an old repeat of Magnum P.I. on the only TV in the house? You could record the show and watch it later, but because it’s a live broadcast and virtually everyone arranges their schedule to watch it when it airs, you’d have to avoid Facebook, Twitter and, basically, the entire Internet so you don’t come across any spoilers or big moments on stage during the program.
