Top 10 most watched of the week (entertainment): Simpsons/Family Guy crossover makes the list

Your 10 most watched programs of the week on Sling, non-sports edition, were as follows. Check after the list for a few quick thoughts on this week’s most watched home entertainment:

  1. The Big Bang Theory
  2. The Voice
  3. Sons of Anarchy
  4. Family Guy
  5. Once Upon a Time
  6. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
  7. Today
  8. Grey’s Anatomy
  9. NCIS
  10. Criminal Minds

Do you like watching The Simpsons live online? Do you like watching Family Guy live online? How about both at the same time? Sling users seemed to this week, as the much-anticipated crossover episode of Fox’s two animated stalwarts finally aired (as the season premiere of Family Guy‘s 13th season). Another show entering our top 10 was ABC’s fairytale drama Once Upon a Time, which debuted its new season by introducing characters from Frozen.

October is here and there’s always a lot going on — playoff baseball, pumpkin farms, Halloween events, etc. — so people are bound to want to watch their shows while waiting for one thing or another. It’ll be interesting to see if that dynamic affects our lists at all and if it affects whether people  watch live or pre-recorded programs via Slingbox. We’ll be back with our sports top 10 tomorrow.
