Top 10 most watched of the week (sports): Cricket World Cup bowls its way onto the list

icc-cricket-world-cup-2015-logo-high-resolution-wallpaperYour 10 most watched programs of the week on Slingbox, sports edition, were as follows. Check after the list for a few quick thoughts on this week’s most watched live sports:

1. Liga MX soccer
2. Nascar: Kobalt 400
3. La Liga soccer
4. PGA Tour: WGC-Cadillac Championship
5. Copa del Rey soccer
6. Cricket World Cup: India vs. West Indies
7. Cricket World Cup: India vs. Ireland
8. Cricket World Cup: Pakistan vs. South Africa
9. NBA: Thunder vs. Bulls
10. NBA: Mavericks vs. Trail Blazers

The 2015 Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand is charging toward the conclusion of its group stage, and it’s making its presence felt majorly on our top 10. The most popular matches this week were the ones that saw India beat West Indies in Perth, India beat Ireland in Hamilton, and Pakistan beat South Africa in Auckland.

Like last week, soccer topped the list, but instead of UEFA Champions League we saw Mexico’s top league take the No. 1 spot. And also like last week, Nascar remained at No. 2 — this time it was the Kobalt 400 in Las Vegas, which was won by Kevin Harvick. And for the first time in a long time, we saw multiple NBA games with none of them including the Cavaliers. Lots of Slingbox users watching the NBA online saw four other quality teams instead in Chicago, Dallas, Oklahoma City and Portland.

We’ll be back next week with another set of top 10s.

Whether it is 2014, 2015 or any year, Cricket and Soccer have been the most watched games for days, weeks, months & years. I love watching these games on Sporty Website.
