Top 10 most watched of the week (sports): NCAA Tournament, NCAA Tournament and more NCAA Tournament

Your 10 most watched programs of the week on Slingbox, sports edition, were as follows. Check after the list for a few quick thoughts on this week’s most watched live sports:

1. CBB: Notre Dame vs. Kentucky
2. CBB: Gonzaga vs. Duke
3. CBB: Arizona vs. Wisconsin
4. CBB: North Carolina vs. Wisconsin
5. CBB: Michigan State vs. Louisville
6. CBB: West Virginia vs. Kentucky
7. CBB: Wichita State vs. Notre Dame
8. CBB: Utah vs. Duke
9. Cricket World Cup: Australia vs. India
10. CBB: Xavier vs. Arizona

Perhaps you noticed a trend in this week’s sports top 10? It seems that the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament just might be popular with Slingbox users. We haven’t seen one event dominate our list like this in a very long time. (To be fair of course, few sports events produce as many games in as short a time as the Tournament does). Which games made it on and which didn’t provided some interesting insight — Arizona, Duke, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and heavy favorite Kentucky all made two appearances.

As for the one top 10 entrant holding it down for the non-basketball sports world, the Cricket World Cup semifinal that saw Australia eliminate India made it at No. 9. Interestingly, that game was more popular than the final, which saw co-hosts Australia and New Zealand battle in a match that ultimately went to the Aussies.

We’ll be back next week with another set of top 10s.
