Top 10 most watched of the week (entertainment): The Bachelorette is back on the hunt for love

Our 10 most watched programs of the week on Slingbox, non-sports edition, were as follows. Check after the list for a few quick thoughts on this week’s most watched home entertainment:

1. Today
2. The Bachelorette
3. The Young and the Restless
4. El Señor de los Cielos
5. Game of Thrones
6. The Big Bang Theory
7. Keeping Up with the Kardashians
8. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
9. Teen Titans Go!
10. Pretty Little Liars

The 11th season of The Bachelorette has been nothing but surprises. For the first time in The Bachelorette history, the contestants chose which of the two bachelorettes from the previous season they wanted to compete for. With the 4th episode airing last Monday and the 5th episode airing tonight at 8PM, The Bachelorette will likely continue to climb Slingbox’s Top 10 most watched TV shows.

Meanwhile, The Young and Restless jumped from the 9th most watched show to the 3rd in one week! El Senor de los Cielos maintains their top 10 position, while, for the first time in months, Teen Titans Go! made their re-appearance back on the list. As Game of Thrones comes to a close with only one episode left in the season, The Young and Restless and The Bachelorette, have a run for their money to be Slingbox’s most watched TV show next week.

We’ll be back tomorrow with our sports top 10.

We are residents of Massachusetts, and of course Boston Red Sox fans. We are Verizon FIOS customers with 3 cable boxes in our home, and after seeing a Slingbox advertised on the Verizon web site, purchased a Slingbox500 yesterday to watch the Red Sox games at our ‘away’ cabin which has WiFi internet connection. We are VERY DISSAPOINTED TO LEARN TODAY THAT, CONTRARY TO THE ADVERTISEMENT, VERIZON FIOS DOES NOT SUPPORT SLINGBOX. We learned this after a failed installation, followed by an hour and a half of phone calls with both Verizon technical service and customer service, who said, and I quote “Verizon does not support Slingbox”. What’s up with this ?
