2016-election-210x210-hp

Our 10 most-watched programs of the week on Slingbox, non-sports edition, were as follows. Check after the list for a few quick thoughts on this week’s most-watched home entertainment:

1. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
2. Today
3. The Bachelor
4. The Republican Debate
5. The Big Bang Theory
6. New Hampshire Primary
7. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
8. NCIS
9. Shameless
10. ABC News Good Morning America

Slingbox users are definitely politically informed because week after week debates and primaries are making it onto our entertainment top ten list. This week, a Republican debate and the New Hampshire Primary both held top spots.

The New Hampshire primary was the second party contest (after the Iowa Caucuses) and first primary election for this presidential cycle. While some delegates are chosen in this primary, the real importance comes from the massive media coverage it garners, allowing candidates to gain momentum before the rest of the nation votes. Tuesday’s vote found Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders winning their respective parties. The biggest surprise of the night may have been the second place finish in the GOP race of Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who finished with 15.8 percent of the vote.

Keep using Slingbox to stay updated on the latest developments in the 2016 presidential race; the next Republican debate will air on CBS tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET while the next Democratic debate is slated for March 6 with additional details to come.

We’ll be back next week with more top ten lists.
