With award season in full swing, Slingbox users tuned into the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, which aired on a Monday this year due to President’s Day. The many musicians attending the Grammys made powerful statements throughout the night, highlighting racial and gender diversity through their moving performances.

Taylor Swift kicked off the show performing a single off her album, 1989, which ultimately won Album of the Year. She made Grammy history as the first female artist to win Album of the Year twice. Kendrick Lamar not only had a politically charged and empowering performance, he was also the most honored artist of the night, winning five awards including Best Rap Album.

Swift and Lamar weren’t the only stars in the spotlight during the ceremony at Staples Center. Performances from Adele, Lady Gaga and The Eagles were widely talked about and artists like Ed Sheeran and Mark Ronson won Song of the Year and Record of the Year respectively.

Use your Slingbox to tune into the next award show, The Oscars, which will air February 28 at 5:30 p.m. on ABC. We’ll be back Friday with sports!
