Slingbox users are watching new shows: Top 10 Entertainment

Our 10 most-watched programs of the week on Slingbox, non-sports edition, is as follows. Keep reading after the list for our thoughts on this week’s most-watched home entertainment:

1. Today
2. The Big Bang Theory
3. Grey’s Anatomy
4. Fear the Walking Dead
5. The Voice
6. ABC News Good Morning America
7. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
8. Modern Family
9. Outlander
10. Blue Bloods

With many of the same shows reappearing on our top 10 entertainment list, what about the shows on the bottom of the pack that get less love than the others? Coming in hot at #9 is Outlander. To be perfectly honest, I had never even heard about Outlander until this morning , but when I looked it up, I was drawn in. Outlander is on their second season and has a smashing rating of 8.5 out of 10 on IMDb. This may sound outlandish (no pun intended), but Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall, a married nurse from 1945 who randomly goes back in time to 1743. In 1743, Claire is part of a world where her life is threatened, and she is forced to marry another man who is clearly not of her time. Enter the love triangle and the torn heart, as Claire continues to live in the past. Catch the next episode of Outlander on your Slingbox this Saturday, but I would suggest just starting from the beginning by checking out Starz on demand.

At the back of our list we have Blue Bloods. Last Friday, Blue Bloods released their season 6 finale, which is probably the reason why they made the top 10. This show revolves around the Reagan’s, a multigenerational family of cops in New York who not only deal with law enforcement but with family issues as well. Frank Reagan, the commissioner of the NYPD, has three children who are all part of law enforcement. His three children have very different personalities, and it is impressive to watch Frank micromanage his children and his job at the same time.

We’ll be back on Wednesday with sports!

Friendly reminder. There are three NBA playoff and NHL playoff games tonight. Don’t forget to tune in to watch the games, and if you are away from home, fire up that Slingbox!
