I’ll start by saying; I am shocked the NHL playoffs were not included in this week’s top 10. A lot of those games were really exciting. Anyways…Before we get into the exciting 2016 NFL Draft, let me give you a quick recap of what has been happening in the NBA playoffs. In the first round of the playoffs, the Spurs swept the crippled Memphis team, OKC stomped all over Mark Cuban and his beloved Mavericks, the Cavaliers swept the Pistons, the Warriors minus MVP blew out the Rockets, and the Hawks just knocked the Celtics out of contention. Injuries have been plaguing the playoffs this year, and the Clippers really felt it the other night. Chris Paul suffered a fractured hand, Blake Griffin re-injured his leg, and they will both be missing the entire playoff series. The Clippers are down 2 wins to 3 to the Portland Trailblazers, and we will find out tonight if the Clippers will have enough fight left in them to take this series to game 7.

13082611_1149450121785860_3810611090727191962_nThe 2016 NFL draft was a wild, highly watched, first round of the NFL draft. Cal’s Jared Goff was selected first by the Los Angeles Rams. I am slightly disappointed to see him moving down south, because I would have personally loved to see Goff in a Niners uniform. The 2nd pick, Carson Wentz, was picked by the Eagles, the 3rd pick, Joey Bosa, was picked by the Chargers, and the 4th pick, Ezekiel Elliot was picked by the Cowboys. Pretty interesting first round picks all around, especially with the whole Laremy Tunsil scandals that have been going around the day of the draft. For those who did not know, Tunsil’s cell phone and Twitter were hacked and his private videos and texts were leaked to the public. Quite the series of unfortunate evens for Tunsil.

We’ll be back next week with more entertainment.
