This past week, Slingbox users have been watching new entertainment shows to kick start the 2017 year. Shows like This is US, SIX, Nashville, and El Chema are all new to our top 10 most watched list. To be honest, we are fairly confused about Ghostbusters being on our list. Maybe the new movie aired for the first time on TV, but either way, a lot of Slingbox users tuned in to watch. This is US is a brand new entertainment show on NBC about a group of people with very different lives, but one thing in common: their birthdays. The rating for this show on IMDB is pretty high with a score of 8.9 out of 10. Who knows, this may be that next big show everyone will be talking about.

The 2017 Grammy Awards was iconic as always, but this year felt a little more special than usual. Let’s start this off by saying, wow Beyonce! She recently announced her pregnancy with twins, and yet she still goes on stage and pulls off one of her best performances yet! Big congratulations to Adele for winning album and song of the year and to Chance the Rapper for winning best new album, best rap album, and best rap performance. Chance also became the first artist to win a Grammy without even selling physical copies of his music. Major props to Chance, he has remained unsigned to a major label this entire time and continues to release his music for free online. He’s the real MVP.

We’ll be back next week with more.

Get ready for the Super Bowl with a Slingbox

Here’s all you need to know about the Super Bowl, and how you can watch the Super Bowl with your Slingbox!

The 51st Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the underdog Atlanta Falcons airs this Sunday at 3:30PM PT. The Super Bowl is easily the most watched sporting event in American history, so you don’t wanna miss it! If you’re on vacation, let’s say in the Caribbean, turn on that Slingbox that is connected to your cable box at home through your Slingplayer app, and watch the Super Bowl live from your bungalow.

Will Tom Brady push his team to go on and win another Super Bowl? Or will the underdog Falcons with their all-star wide receiver, Julio Jones, surprise us with a win? If you’re thinking about betting on this Super Bowl and want to risk it to get the biscuit, put your money on the Atlanta Falcons. Right now ESPN odds for the Falcons to win are 13 to 5. So pretty much, if you were to bet $100 on the Falcons, you could end up with 260 big ones in your pocket. Hopefully this Super Bowl won’t have any deflated footballs or something. Who would do a thing like that?

Have a Happy Super Bowl Weekend from the Slingbox team.
